The countdown to ScotPlant 2014 is well and truly underway, with less than 72 hours until the big event kicks off.
A number of exhibitors have started arriving on site at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, including Case, Volvo, Finlay Scotland, Young Plant Sales and Scot JCB.
Things are heating up nicely – which is more than can be said for the weather! Grey skies and cold temperatures have replaced the glorious sunshine of the Easter weekend. But there’s no dampening the enthusiasm as some of the biggest names in construction equipment begin building the stands which will host their products this weekend at the event of the year.
Looking out over the main showground first thing this morning, things were pretty quiet. But with a steady flow of spectacular machines arriving, this is very much the calm before the storm.
Over the next few days, the wide open spaces will be filled with some of the most impressive and innovative machines in construction today.
