SCOTPLANT 2018 is on track to be the biggest event in the show’s 20-year history, with a string of new exhibitors joining familiar faces in a sterling line-up.

Molson Green, Taylor & Braithwaite, Boecker UK, Bay-lynx manufacturing, Wheelmasters UK, Northern Survey Supplies, Bunkabin and Stag Plant Hire are among the new faces set to exhibit for the first time at Scotland’s leading trade event for construction equipment at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, next April.

Other exhibitors have increased the size of their stands. Welfare specialist Loc Hire debuted two years ago and will return with a plot almost three times larger than the one they occupied in 2016.

Mac’s Trucks has also snapped up a larger stand while Kilwinning-based Kattrak will have a second stand at the show, specifically to display a range of Hidromek machines.

Garic and Sandhurst will be making welcome returns to ScotPlant while Marubeni-Komatsu, who returned in 2016 after a 14-year absence, have confirmed they’ll be back once again.

Long-term exhibitors including Liebherr, Sandvik, Blue, Scot JCB, Finning and Young Plant Sales will be in their usual places. SMT GB (who completed the acquisition of the Volvo Construction Equipment GB dealership earlier this year) will have a stand in conjunction with Volvo Trucks North & Scotland.

ScotPlant sales manager Mark Griston said, “ScotPlant 2016 was our biggest ever show and we’re well on the way to surpassing that. Interest has been phenomenal.”

ScotPlant 2018 will take place on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 April 2018. For more information, visit scotplant.com
