SCOT JCB is raising funds and awareness of breast cancer at this year’s ScotPlant after placing customer Tom Grant’s brand new pink excavator in the centre of its stand.

The JCB 245XR is raising money for charity Breast Cancer Now and displays a large QR code and URL link to a donation page.

“ScotPlant is the perfect opportunity to raise awareness,” Iain Bryant, joint MD of Scot JCB, said. “We haven’t had the show for four years and we’re all glad to be back – and if we can raise money for a great cause like that then it’s nice that we have the ability to do it.

“Tom Grant, a longstanding customer of ours, was happy to get involved,” Iain added. “We had a bit of a joint collaboration, with us customising it.”

Iain revealed the pink 245XR has attracted the most attention on the bustling Scot JCB stand, closely followed by the newly launched line of Stewart Plant Sales’ crusher and screening range.

“It’s in-brand so it’s got a lot of attention because we’ve not been in this market before, so that is creating a lot of interest.”
