ScotPlant 2026 Highlights

ScotPlant 2026 delivered another epic instalment of the long-running exhibition
24-25th April 2026
Royal Highland Centre, Islington, Edinburgh
Enormous crowds basked in glorious sunshine over two days at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston as a record 215 exhibitors – including many of the world’s leading construction equipment manufacturers and their Scottish dealers – showcased the machines and innovations shaping the future of the industry.
As ever, ScotPlant provided a unique opportunity for industry stakeholders to network, discuss major issues, and discover the latest solutions in a relaxed and informal setting. Notable machines being launched to the Scottish market this year included Kubota’s 14-tonne U145 excavator, CASE’s 1121G+ wheel loader, Develon’s Series 9 smart crawler diggers, SANY’s 20-tonne SW956E electric wheel loader, and the UK’s first Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 telescopic mobile crane. ScotPlant also hosted a world first spectacular SEMIX 100H super mobile concrete batching plant.
Gary Moug, editor of Project Plant, said, “I’ve been involved in every ScotPlant since 2014, and the show just gets bigger and more incredible each time. What was particularly noticeable this year was how many more visitors from outside of Scotland attended, highlighting the national and even international appeal of a show that continues to go from strength-to-strength. The Scottish plant industry once again did itself proud.”
