CAPJA and Badger Marketing have formally announced a strategic partnership at ScotPlant 2026, marking a coordinated move into the UK construction plant and hire market.

The announcement was made on day one of the show, with both teams present on site to launch the collaboration and engage directly with contractors, hire companies and equipment providers across the sector.

Capja, led by Josh Wallman, has developed a suite of plant hire and access-focused software designed to simplify site documentation, reporting and asset-level interaction. With Badger Marketing now in place as marketing partner, the focus shifts to structured market entry and growth within the plant and equipment space.

At the centre of the rollout is the introduction of new hire-focused software, built to challenge established systems by addressing the practical realities of plant operations. Alongside this, Capja’s QR-driven technology is being positioned for wider adoption, linking physical plant and equipment directly to live, structured digital records.

This enables site teams to access documentation, inspections and asset information instantly, with the aim of improving traceability, reducing admin, and creating a clearer audit trail across projects.

Dan Ezzatvar, MD of Badger Marketing, said, “I’ve known Josh for years and watched him grow Capja within the market. I’ve always been impressed with how he does things from the ground up, with a clear understanding of how the industry actually works.

“Capja has built software around real site activity and the realities of day-to-day operational pressure. The opportunity now is to take that into the general plant and hire industry and allow the wider market to benefit from what is on offer. There’s a gap between what systems promise and what actually happens on site. Capja closes that gap, and our role is to make sure that’s communicated clearly and taken up by the right businesses.”

Josh Wallman, founder of Capja, added, “We’ve taken our time building this properly. Everything we’ve developed is based on how people actually work on site, what they need, what slows them down and what adds value. Badger understands that. They understand the sectors, the pressure and how to position something like this without overcomplicating it. ScotPlant is the right place to launch it. We’re speaking directly to the people who will use it, and this partnership gives us the platform to scale that across the UK plant and hire market.”
