LIFTING specialist GGR Group has launched what the firm claims is the UK’s largest counterbalance beam to the market.

The 8000kg capacity Libro 8000 can be attached to mobile and tower cranes at height and is said to be capable of installing glass, cladding, curtain walling and balconies below overhangs of up to 3000mm deep.

The product features a rechargeable battery and is controlled by cable remote.

Chris Lord, lifting products director at GGR Group said, “We are pleased to bring yet another unrivalled product to the lifting market. Responding to customers’ growing lifting capacity needs is what helps keeps us one step ahead of the game and reinforces our position as leading lifting solutions specialists in the UK.

“Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at GGR and we are looking forward to rolling out the Libro 8000 counterbalance beam to some of the most high profile projects across the UK.”
