71 Engineer Regiment will be returning to ScotPlant after an impressive showing at the 2014 event, to showcase more of the armed forces’ plant equipment and get the word out about the vital work that they do.
The 71 Engineers will be bringing between six and seven staff to the show, including a plant operator. They will also have an information stand where attendees can find out more.
Staff Sergeant Lawrence Johnson said that they “had a lot of employment engagement” at the 2014 event and companies were impressed with the qualifications of the army plant operators.
Lawrence added that there is “always an opportunity” for experienced plant operators to get involved but emphasised that they must complete the required army training.
