FIELD and Forest, with the support of Yanmar Compact Equipment, will display nine Yanmar machines at ScotPlant 2024, including the all-new SV86 and SV100-7 compact excavators.
The move follows Broxburn-based Field and Forest being appointed central Scotland dealers earlier this year for Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA. The firm’s territory stretches from the southern borders with England, up to Edinburgh and Glasgow – and as far north as the Isle of Mull.
The compact diggers on display at ScotPlant will be fitted with a variety of construction and forestry attachments.
Field and Forest is an equipment supplier to the groundcare and forestry sectors, particularly specialised forestry attachments. The addition of the Yanmar range is being seen as complementary to its existing customer base – a belief confirmed by the sale of four Yanmar excavators in the firm’s first month supporting the brand.
