FLANNERY Plant Hire will make its ScotPlant debut this year as the business embarks on the next phase of growth and investment across Scotland.
Having operated north of the border for a number of years, Flannery said ScotPlant provides an important opportunity to engage directly with contractors, operators and partners, and to strengthen relationships within a market that remains central to the company’s future plans.
Flannery’s ScotPlant display will include a Komatsu 138 electric excavator, underlining the firm’s commitment to low emission plant solutions, a Magni Roto telehandler, Bogmaster, ATV, and additional specialist equipment designed to operate in challenging environments. Together, the line-up is said to reflect the ‘depth and versatility’ of Flannery’s offering across major infrastructure, utilities, and civils projects.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience Flannery’s mobile simulator trailer, featuring built-in plant simulators. The unit allows operators and members of the public to engage first-hand with plant operation in a safe, controlled environment, providing a practical insight into modern machine controls while supporting skills development and awareness.
Director Gareth Corbett said, “ScotPlant is a key date in the calendar for this year. Scotland has been an important part of Flannery’s operation for many years, and this event gives us the opportunity to showcase the breadth of our fleet, have meaningful conversations across the industry and demonstrate how we continue to invest in both innovation and capability.”
Graeme Hughes, operations director for Scotland, added, “We’re really looking forward to being part of ScotPlant this year. It’s a great opportunity to engage with the Scottish market, showcase specialist machines suited to local challenges, and spend time with the people who make this industry what it is. We’re proud of the work we’ve been delivering in Scotland and excited to showcase our work at the event.”
