MAC’S Truck Sales has joined the ScotPlant 2026 exhibitor line-up.
The firm recently announced the successful delivery of an 18-tonne Tipper Grab truck to JCA Recycling, in a move described as marking a significant fleet upgrade for the growing waste management company.
The vehicle replaces JCA’s existing 12-tonne DAF Tipper Grab. It features a 310HP engine paired with an eight-speed manual transmission, said to provide ‘exceptional’ pulling power when fully loaded.
The truck is equipped with a Palfinger crane system that offers dual functionality with quick-release capability to swap between hook and clamshell attachments. Additional features include a tipper body with access steps and dropsides.
“When choosing a new truck, versatility was essential,” said Jake Arnold, director of JCA Recycling. “This truck gives us more capability in terms of payload and grab ability without compromising those hard-to-access sites.
“The new Grab goes hand-in-hand with our mini-digger operations and speeds up clearing inert waste. Overall, it’s a great all-round truck which is already helping boost our workload and shows our commitment to investing in our business.”
The entire process, from initial specification discussions to vehicle collection, was completed within 10 days of first contact.
“I am grateful to Macs trucks for their efficient service,” added Jake Arnold. “Alex has been helpful throughout with his communication, advice and after-sales. This is the first new lorry for us – I am sure there will be more. I look forward to future purchases and would highly recommend Mac’s Truck Sales.”
